Shriek-hawk

Shriek-hawks, known as jai'galaar in Mando'a, and also called raptors, were a species of giant predatory reptavian native to the planet Mandalore. The Mandalorian Clan Vizsla used an image of a shriek-hawk diving for its prey as their clan emblem, a symbol that was later adopted by the Death Watch Mandalorian faction. The Mandalorian cataclysm had wiped out the species on Mandalore, and they were believed to have become extinct. However, there were some on another planet. One frequently caught members of the Tribe and brought them to its nest where it fed them to its children.

Shriek-hawks first appeared in The Mandalorian episode "Chapter 20: The Foundling." Although unnamed, they were confirmed to be shriek-hawks by Topps for Star Wars: Card Trader.
