In 34 ABY, the Resistance learned that the First Order wanted to take control of the Cassander sector by supplying weapons to the local pirates. In response to the threat, the Resistance sent a group of bombers and starfighters to stop both the pirates and the First Order. After a battle on Mamkoda and a relief mission to Caraxl, Resistance spies learned that the pirate base was located on Sheh Soahi. Acting on that piece of intelligence, the Resistance starship group assaulted the base and destroyed it after an intense battle.
Sheh Soahi was first mentioned in the 2017 canon replica journal book The Last Jedi: Bomber Command, written by Jason Fry.
