A male individual was the father of Rebel pilot Shara Bey. During the Galactic Civil War, Bey had her father raise her son, Poe Dameron, on a planet while she and her husband, Kes Dameron, fought in the war against the Galactic Empire. Shortly after the Battle of Endor, Bey spoke to her father though she was unable to see him due to continued operations against the Imperials.
