Sega

Sega Corporation is the international videogame corporation based on Japan. In the 1980s and 1990s, it was a major competitor to Nintendo, and manufactured numerous home video game consoles and arcade games. After the commercial failure of the Dreamcast console, Sega exited the home console market and focused on developing third-party software instead, where it remains extremely profitable. They are perhaps best known for their video game franchises like Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star, Puyo Puyo, Ristar, Vectorman, ToeJam and Earl, Alex Kidd, Shenmue, Streets of Rage, Panzer Dragoon, Nights into Dreams, Ecco the Dolphin, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, House of the Dead, Altered Beast, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, Alien Soldier, Space Harrier, Wonder Boy, Samba de Amigo, Virtua Fighter, Like a Dragon, Seaman and others, though Sonic the Hedgehog claims to be their most popular franchise.
