Sector 3 was the theaters of operations of the Republic 3rd Sector Army during the Clone Wars. After the Declaration of a New Order, it was reorganized in an Imperial Priority Sector and placed under the rule of Grand Moff Kohl Seerdon.
It was reorganized by the time of the Declaration of a New Order and extended in 19 BBY as far as Kashyyyk in Mytaranor sector and was controlled by a regional governor based on Bimmisaari in Halla sector.
