Science droids were a class of droid. A model of hovering, four-limbed science droid and medical droid was utilized by the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. The RH-series research droid was a humanoid science droid, manufactured by Cybot Galactica as a variant of its 2R-series medical droid, that was active during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
