It was from the still under construction Executor that Darth Vader dispatched his secret apprentice Galen Marek on a number of missions in 3 BBY.
After the Battle of Yavin, the Executor became the most important Imperial project and the Super Star Destroyer was towed to the largest Fondor Shipyards in order to accelerate its construction.
The Scarl shipyards were later reclaimed by the New Republic. Prior to the Orinda campaign, the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Lusankya had been all but abandoned in the shipyards, used as a medical research facility.
