Sath was the capital city on the desert planet of Samaria. The seat of government was the Hall of Ministers.
Samarian engineers had constructed a large bay of water with channels running through the city, that curved around two-thirds of the city. Additionally, many stretches of sand were developed into flower-like designs on the bay. Government buildings, as well as homes for the wealthy, and the palace of the prime minister, were located here. The royal court of Samaria was constructed on a cluster of ten of the sandy fingers. One of the buildings, the Hall of Ministers, was tiled with blue stones to mirror the artificial bay.
In 19 BBY, Ferus Olin was sent to Sath to root out a bug in the planet-wide computer system.
