After an incident involving the escape of a freighter carrying droids wanted by the Empire, Ramsin, who had harbored a desire to ride dewbacks and hated his job and comrades, deserted and sent a sarcastically-worded incident report as his final communication to his former superiors.

In 3 ABY, Ramsin acted as a broker between a Jawa scavenger and the warlord Cribiriz Idollax, arranging for the former's delivery of the head of bounty hunter droid 4-LOM to the latter.
