The Salissians were a social group active in the galaxy during the Republic Era that shared their name with Salissia, a location in the galaxy. During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Salissian special forces were a group that Magistrate Passel Argente of the Corporate Alliance hired to fight for the Separatists' Corporate Alliance Policy Administration Directorate.
In the current Star Wars canon, Salissians were mentioned in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars roleplaying products. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Salissians were a social group of humans who first appeared in the 2004 novel MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, which was written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.
