Long before 34 ABY, Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs visited the eatery Sakhet's Noodles on the planet Denon, where he enjoyed the proprietor Sakhet's Corellian buckwheat noodles. Following his visit, he included a recipe for Sakhet's Special in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, published in 35 ABY, in which he recalled visiting Sakhet on Denon.
Sakhet's Special was introduced in the 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a recipe book written by Marc Sumerak and Jenn Fujikawa. The out-of-universe ingredients for the recipe are soba noodles—made from buckwheat, like Sakhet's in-universe noodles—olive oil, an onion, rib eye steak, tamari, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, nori, and green onions.
