The sailor's lament was a song known to the Eirami and the E'roni, the citizens of the Outer Rim planets Eiram and E'ronoh, respectively, by the time of the High Republic Era. In 382 BBY, the dying Eirami soldier Salas asked his prince, Phan-tu Zenn, if he knew the sailor's lament. Though Zenn did not, his betrothed—the E'roni Princess Xiri A'lbaran—did know the musical piece and sang it to Salas in his final moments.
