Ruusan Armistice

The Ruusan Armistice was a cessation of hostilities that was agreed upon at some point in the history of the galaxy. It led to the creation of new standards of humane behavior in wartime. In a formal resolution of censure against Saw Gerrera of the Partisans, Mon Mothma notably condemned him for not respecting the traditions established under the Ruusan Armistice. It shared its name with the Mid Rim Territories planet of Ruusan.

The Ruusan Armistice was first mentioned in the Star Wars canon in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Rebel Files, written by Daniel Wallace. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Armistice Celebrations were a holiday that celebrated the anniversary of the Ruusan Reformation. They were first mentioned in the 2007 novel Darth Bane: Rule of Two.
