Rover group was a flight group of four TIE/D Defenders. The starfighters were patrolling a staging area when two Imperial Missile Boats arrived with orders to eliminate all TIE Defenders in the area. Rover group moved to intercept the threat but were eliminated, along with several stationary TIE Defenders in the area. The operation was later used as a training exercise for Missile Boat pilots.
