Rodian Theater was a type of theater performed in the Rodian tongue. Rodian Theater troupes often counted Drabatans, a species with pitch-perfect voices who often played the heel, among their number. The Rodian Harido Kavila created works of Rodian theater that were well-liked by the Anomid Jedi High Council member Alxa Kress, and Kress taught Jedi Master Mace Windu how to perform Kavila's works in Rodese.
Rodian Theater was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in Dawn of Rebellion, a 2018 supplement to the Star Wars Roleplaying system produced by Fantasy Flight Games. The theater was first introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1996 West End Games roleplaying adventure A Trip to the Country, published in the sourcebook Shadows of the Empire Planets Guide.
