The Rod of Ages was a Force artifact, one of a set of three rods. In 382 BBY, the two leaders of the Path of the Open Hand Werth Plouth, the Herald, and Elecia Zeveron, the Mother, contacted the smuggler Radicaz Dobbs. Dobbs was specialized in Force artifacts and the Path was looking for an artifact called the Rod of Ages.
