A rocket pod was a type of missile launcher mounted on starships and vehicles. One variety, found on Zann Consortium Mobile Defense Unit, would fire salvos of ten rockets, one from each launcher, at an enemy target. The pod was highly effective against light vehicles such as the AT-ST. Starfighter-mounted rocket pods lacked guidance systems but carried heavy payloads.
