Ritual of ascent

The ritual of ascent was a ceremony performed by the Ysanna tribe of Ossus. In the belief that an ancient tree known as the "place of Ascension" was the source of Ysanna magic, the ritual saw the individual tied at the place of ascension to imbue them with magic.
