Rescue of Ruug Quarnom

However, the prisoner transport carrying her was disabled and left to crash below the city of Kyr Uneris, although Quarnom survived. Kenobi and Skywalker learned of the incident and secretly departed Coruscant. When it was discovered that Quarnom was not among the casualties, battle droids were sent after her in the wilderness, but the two Jedi arrived and destroyed them, saving Quarnom's life.

Prelude

After assisting Obi-Wan Kenobi with his investigation on Cato Niemoida, Ruug Quarnom was arrested by her government and was aboard a prisoner transport that had crashed with four other prisoners who had all perished during the crash below the city of Kyr Uneris. Several days later, Kenobi and Skywalker were given a datapad by Clone Commander Cody informing them of the crash and that, unofficially, one passenger had survived the crash. Making good on their promise to retreve her if she needed extraction, the two Jedi departed for Cato Neimoidia.

Rescue on the surface

After the crash, Quarnom had managed to find shelter within some wood and rocks despite potentially having a shattered ankle. Several days after the crash, a platoon attack craft landed with many B1-series battle droids. Before the droids could find the Neimoidian however, Quarnom spotted the blades of the Jedi through the mist native to the surface of the planet behind the group of droids, cutting them all down. After four rows of battle droids had been cut down, the remaining droids took notice of the Jedi and began to rain blaster fire on them, but that did not hinder the Jedi who proceeded to destroy all of the remaining droids. After dealing with all of the droids, the two Jedi walked close enough to Ruug Quarnom that she could see who her rescuers were through the fog—Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.
