The story re-uses illustrations by Pilot Studio that were previously published in the World of Reading book Rescue from Jabba's Palace by Michael Siglain. However, Siglain's original text does not appear, and Dworkin's writing is wholly original to the short story. The text and illustrations were slightly changed when it was republished in Star Wars Galactic Stories: 7 Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away....
