The confrontation between the Republic and the Separatists during the Clone Wars took place on land, sea and air. But it was probably in space that the conflict escalated the most, as both sides built increasingly deadly ships and weaponry in an attempt to defeat the enemy for good. The capital ships of the two sides in conflict adopted all kinds of shapes and sizes, from the Republic cruisers and transports, precursors of the Imperial Star Destroyers, to the different ships that organizations such as the Techno Union, the Intergalactic Banking Clan or the Trade Federation contributed to the separatist cause.
