The Republic Classic era was the period of galactic history immediately preceding the fall of the Republic, running at least to 50 BBY. Bail Prestor Organa and the Naboo wore garments in the style of this era, as opposed to the clothing fashion of Coruscant. The Stark Hyperspace War took place in this time period.
