The Council largely repressed the native Korunnai population. At the time the Clone Wars started there was a Judicial Department investigation into its abuses. Due to that, the Council voted to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Branches of the Council's government included a Customs office, a Ministry of Justice, and a civil militia.
