Reese was a human male captain of the Galactic Republic who administered the Carida Military Academy during the High Republic Era. He welcomed Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis and the Twi'lek Lourna Dee when she enrolled in the academy. Dee joined as a cadet under the name of her dead brother, Inun.
