The Red Sector was a section of the inner areas of Nirama's public asteroid. Red Sector had a troublesome reputation among the station's security forces.
Buildings contained within the sector included the Hutt's Tail cantina and three storage facilities, the middle of which was used by the Cell for meetings with potential recruits. Red Sector was not used during the graveyard shift and the Cell had deactivated the visual sensors of the simple droids which worked the storage facilities at night.
Security details working Red Sector were expected to sweep the area three times in an eight-hour shift, with a full sweep taking forty minutes.
