By 3642 BBY the Hutt Cartel had apprehended the thief Combo, who was wanted by the crime lord Rogun the Butcher. Raskurro was negotiating the handover of Combo to Rogun's Houk lieutenant Strilth when a smuggler affiliated with the Galactic Republic, along with Combo's captain Vaz Traniff, interrupted them. The smuggler convinced Raskurro to ally with them over Rogun, and Raskurro left them to fight with Strilth over Combo.
Raskurro later contacted the smuggler to apologize for the incident on behalf of the Hutt Cartel.
