Range corps

The range corps was a division of the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps was composed of range troopers. Imperial High Command decided that frontier planets should be carefully surveyed since they could be quickly drawn to a rebel cause, and realized that a special trooper division had to be created with the most experienced personnel. Due to the specialized training of range troopers, they mocked other Imperial Army divisions and considered them amateurs.
