The Quarry penal colony was a Gungan prison colony. Hard labor was apparently included as part of the penal system there. After Jar Jar Binks inadvertently allowed half of the animals to escape from the Otoh Gunga zoo, Boss Rugor Nass sentenced him to six months hard labor at the Quarry penal colony, although the sentence was later commuted.
