After hours of prayers were conducted by members of the priest caste, the contaminated Yuuzhan Vong was plunged into a tank full of flesh-eating creatures, closely related to the ngdin, which ate away the tainted flesh. The process was quick, requiring only two minutes to complete, but required stamina, for like all Yuuzhan Vong rituals, it was highly painful.
