Purge of suspected Crimson Dawn collaborators

Vader and the assassin Ochi made their way to the Imperial throne room in the Imperial Palace, where he executed a number of the advisers to his Sith Master, Darth Sidious, as well as all of his Royal Guard. Afterwards, Sidious revealed to Vader that only one of the individuals he had killed was affiliated with Crimson Dawn, and that the list he had discovered was flawed. In truth, Vader had known since Ochi had told him the Assassin's Guild could only confirm half the list were spies. Vader had resolved to carry on the operation as part of his ongoing quest to bring order to the galaxy: at least half the list were traitors, so he reasoned that many of them could afford to be killed on the chance they were indeed spies.

At the same time, the Revengers, which consisted of S'ira, Ankala Sahm, and Tanka, were sent along with the assassin Gee-Ninety and Imperial officer Beilert Valance to kill Baron Espis Zanchal, which they successfully did, though it was discovered after the baron's death that he had not been a collaborator with Crimson Dawn. Whilst the other two missions were taking place, two other assassins of Vader's crew traveled to the Sith Lord's flagship, the Executor, where they killed a number of stormtroopers and Imperial officers but spared the life of General Hurst Romodi as he had not been on the list.

Following the purgings, Vader informed Ochi that the list had been planted by someone, and that he wanted the assassin to find out what connected the individuals on the list as it would lead them to who had planted it, and then they could discover why. Ochi met with Sub-Administrator Sly Moore and accused her of planting the list. After Moore's denial of planting the list, the forensics droid ZED-6-7 and Sabé arrived and held the pair at blasterpoint as she told them threatened to reveal the pairs own secret allegiance to Crimson Dawn to Vader if they did not do as she said.
