Pummelstaves were melee weapons used by the technophobic Red Knights of Life. They were tubes of wrought iron, and were employed at a close range.
During the Red Knights' uprising on Rhommamool in 25 ABY, several members of the organization used pummelstaves to wreck a Dressellian's landspeeder, advising him to either ride an animal such as a tutakan, or walk as nature intended.
