The pressure mine was an explosive placed on the ground. It was mainly utilized as a trap. Around 18 BBY, CT-9904 "Crosshair" stepped on a pressure mine, but Clone Commander Mayday helped him disarm the explosive.
A few stacks of unarmed pressure mines were later located inside a raiders' hideout when Mayday and Crosshair were scouting the area.
