Presidente

Presidente was the title of the leader of the Commerce Guild, a galactic trade group active during the final years of the Galactic Republic. Shu Mai, a female Gossam from the planet Castell, held the title during the Clone Wars, until her death at the hands of Darth Vader on Mustafar in 19 BBY. During the Separatist Crisis, she used her influence as the Presidente of the Commerce Guild to ally the Guild with the Confederacy of Independent Systems and gain a seat on the Separatist Council.
