Prefabricated ground bases were employed by the Galactic Republic, its successor state, the Galactic Empire, and its successor, the First Order, as part of their military. The Republic Military used prefab buildings during the Clone Wars, allowing the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who fought for the Republic in the war as a commander, to memorize the standard prefab building's layout. The Empire that replaced the Republic made use of monotonous assets in their military, continuing to use prefab buildings of a style used in the Clone Wars in the Outer Rim Territories at least until one year after the galactic conflict's end in 19 BBY.
A prefabricated ground base was carried aboard each Resurgent-class Star Destroyer of the First Order military. The base was kept in several pieces near the Star Destroyer's hangar, and could be deployed rapidly.
