Prandril was a small moon in the Outer Rim, situated in the Prandril system within the Minos Cluster. During the High Republic Era, the moon was home to a colony of the Rodian species, who did not wish to spoil the land upon which they settled. When the Nihil marauders established the Occlusion Zone, Prandril was trapped within their territory, although for some time the marauders seemingly ingored the moon. The Rodians were forced to spend much of their resources on food, and when the Nihil arrived on Prandril to demand tribute, the inhabitants were unable to pay. The Nihil killed half of the colony's population before burning the settlement and taking their children, cutting off supplies from Prandril and leaving the remaining Rodians to starve. Jedi Master Avar Kriss, discreetly operating inside the Occlusion Zone, freed the transport ship piloted by Belin from its Nihil guards to redirect its cargo of grain to Prandril.
