Power glove

Power gloves were a type of glove.

Power gloves were a type of thin, energized gloves used by stormtroopers in hand-to-hand combat, usually while restraining prisoners. A stormtrooper using a pair was capable of physically manhandling an uncooperative Trandoshan prisoner, as was the case for Bossk.

In Hapes culture, power gloves were worn in conjunction with other armor pieces as standard attire in honor duels. These energized gloves were capable of severely shocking an opponent as well as breaking bones; when a blow landed it sounded like the muffled report of a slugthrower, with the force generated being enough to send an adult human male backward several meters.
