During the Quesh war, Portho allied himself with the Hutt Cartel and the Sith Empire, who later betrayed and assassinated him.
Portho was one of the three heads of the Three Families circa 3642 BBY on Quesh and had indulged in the adrenals that the families had in their palace. After many years of the adrenals abuse and after several conversations with Republic officials that proved to be embarrassing, the families tended to keep Portho out of sight. Portho also had green skin.
