Port Haven was a shadowport in the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. In the aftermath of the attack on Valo during the High Republic Era, Port Haven was one of the locations where the Unified Republic Task Force dealt with Nihil marauders. The former pirate Queen Maz Kanata marked it on a map that she included in the book that would eventually become known as the Smuggler's Guide.
In the current canon, Port Haven was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace. The location originates in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Platt's Starport Guide, a 1995 supplement written by Peter Schweighofer for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
