Plot to assassinate Darth Vader

In preparation for her first attempt, Moore, who had recently been demoted from Administrator to Sub-Administrator after she failed to destroy Vader at the request of Palpatine, acquired the specifications of Vader's armor and provided them to the bounty hunter IG-88, who then encountered Vader Zee-Nine City Seven in Hutt Space. IG-88 almost had the Sith Lord decapitate himself, though he was ultimately forced to shoot himself in the head after Vader used the Force to retrieve a controller the droid held that contained the code to Vader's armor and used it to control IG-88. Sometime later, IG-88, who had rebuilt himself, traveled to Coruscant to meet with Moore and her court and inform them that he planned to terminate his contract because he felt Vader could not be defeated.

Vader, however, had followed the bounty hunter, and struck down the droid for a second time. The court made way for a nearby temple, where Moore, in a simialr move to IG-88, used a remote to freeze Vader's armor so her court could kill Vader. The assassins were unsuccessful in their attempts as Vader had the vulnerability fixed. Vader knocked the remote out of her hand as he told her that she could not bend the will of a Sith. Moore responded that she had only wanted to see if Vader was plagued by fear, before adding that whilst he could easily kill her, it would not save him from him being replaced by Skywalker in the favor of Palpatine. Moore then proposed that she bid for the carbonite-frozen body of Han Solo at Crimson Dawn's upcoming auction, so that Vader could use Solo to lure Skywalker in and kill him, which Vader agreed upon, unaware of Moore's true intentions. Moore added that she would be delighted to bring together Vader and Skywalker, as the young rebel was the only one who could kill Vader.

Moore attended the auction, though she was ultimately outbid by and lost to Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Shortly after, Vader arrived and claimed Solo for himself, and eventually Jabba surrendered possession of Solo to Vader and the Empire. Vader then used Solo as bait to lure Skywalker in as planned, threatening to cut Solo in half if Skywalker did not go to him. Skywalker was unable to confront Vader and instead decided to distract Vader in his X-wing long enough for Leia Organa to recover Solo for the Rebel Alliance. Vader took the bait and began to chase him in his TIE Advanced. As the two were locked in pursuit above and in the skies of Jekara, Moore had the Droid Crush Pirates of Bestoon attempt to kill Vader so that Skywalker could escape. The act revealed her true intentions to Ochi, who after dueling with her, apprehended Moore, ending her plot to kill Vader.
