Plan 82, otherwise known as Shockwave, was a tactical plan created by the clone commando squad, Clone Force 99, of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Separatist Alliance. Implemented through the use of impromptu shields, the tactic also involved the utilization of Electro Magnetic Pulse grenades to overwhelm vaster forces of Separatist battle droids. In 19 BBY, Clone Sergeant Hunter, the leader of Clone Force 99, ordered his squad to initiate Plan 82 against a force of battle droids following the crashing of their Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunship in a canyon on the planet Anaxes, which had been subject to a period of engagements between the Republic and Confederacy.
