The Pits of Ku'rella were a location known to the Hutt Myarga Anjiliac Atirue. After she was captured by the Nihil pirates and held prisoner at a Nihil gas foundry on the Outer Rim planet Xais in 231 BBY, Myarga was interrogated by a Nihil pirate—secretly the undercover Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis who was trying to help the Hutt by keeping her alive as long as possible—for secrets of the Jedi Order. While speaking in Huttese in response, Myarga questioned her interrogator as to who she thought she was talking to, adding that she would see Trennis burn in the Pits of Ku'rella before telling the Nihil anything.
