The Jedi Temple Guards used special double-bladed lightsabers that have a longer hilt and featured two rare yellow plasma blades on each side of the staff, which were called lightsaber pikes.
The Royal Guards also utilized these weapons. A trio of the Emperor's Royal Guards used modified magnetic force pikes to subdue Ezra Bridger when he failed to obey the Emperor as an apprentice.
