Papyri was a medium upon which Force lore and wisdom was recorded. Other forms of repository existed for such purposes, such as data-cards and holocrons, which were used by various Force traditions such as that of the Jedi and the Sith. The Lothal Papyri were one such document contained in the Jedi Archives.
