Palace of Memnii

Amongst the oldest recordings in the Palace was an account given by an anonymous soldier of the Galactic Republic who had been stationed on the planet Falang Minor in around 24,000 BBY, after the end of the Tionese War. The story was recorded on a Baragwin sense lattice, but due to the loss of the algorithm used to access the visuals, only the audio recording was available to listen to.

The Palace was destroyed in the year 19 BBY during the Devastation of Caamas by the Galactic Empire, although some of its records, including part of the Republic soldier's story, survived as they were part of a traveling exhibit at the time.

The Palace of Memnii was first mentioned in 2013 in the fourth instalment of Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare Author's Cut, a series of posts on the StarWars.com blog featuring material cut from The Essential Guide to Warfare. The post was written by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.
