Very soon after reaching the throne of Naboo as a child, Padmé Amidala had to deal with a terrible planetary crisis that would have consequences throughout the galaxy. It was the first step in a career that would take her from queen to senator and, later, to defender of the Republic in the terrible times of the Clone Wars. It was also at the time of the Naboo Crisis that she met a little boy named Anakin, who was destined to share her life with her.
