The P'Dar'Ib were local councils that ruled individual o'bekis on Goroth Prime. During the Galactic Civil War and the rule of the Empire, they were required to follow the edicts of the local Imperial Regional Prefect. Publicly, however, the P'Dar'Ib was presented as the authority with the Prefect in an advisory role.
