Overliege

The Overliege, or Ukian Overliege, was the monarch of Ukio. During the onset of the Clone Wars, the title was held by an unidentified liege, who welcomed Padawan Tyzen Xebec to the planet. His rule came to an abrupt halt due to the turmoil caused by the conflict. As a result of the battle of Ukio, he was ousted from his position as the planet decided to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

In 22 BBY, the new Overliege was Topas dosLa, who oversaw the transition of the planet as it seceded from the Galactic Republic. By 5 ABY, the Overliege was Gol dosLa, but his son Tol dosLla served as his primary spokesman.

When Imperial Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo attacked Ukio in 9 ABY, the Overliege surrendered the planet in the face of turbolaser fire that appeared to be capable of penetrating the planetary shields, although in fact it was an elaborate deception.
