The events of the operation were considered an anomaly to Intelligence, and it was not until four years later that they discovered the involvement of the Star Cabal and understood the meaning of a recording that had been accidentally intercepted during the operation. The recording was a transmission by Hunter to her superiors in the Star Cabal, communicating her success in infiltrating the Republic Strategic Information Service.
