Onyx pearls were a type of pearl. By 10 BBY, Captain Gunda Mabin and the Blazing Claw had seized 0.80 kilograms of onyx pearls from the pirate Hondo Ohnaka after capturing him. The pearls were then included on a list of the plunder seized from Ohnaka that was written in the book that would become known as the Smuggler's Guide.
