On location, also referred to as ep II on location, was a series of videos released on StarWars.com featuring behind-the-scenes looks at the production of during the build-up to the film's release. It was filmed in the summer of 2000 during principal photography.
The series was hosted by actor Ahmed Best and included interviews with cast and crew, and visits to the sets and production offices. The series' first episode refers to it as a "guerilla-style documentary." There were a total of thirty episodes, released from August 1, 2000 to February 20, 2001. Each episode was introduced by an extra from the movie set.
